I had the opportunity to cover the CBS Diversity Showcase. Here are a few photos I took that night:

Thousands of people across the nation audition and submit themselves for these Showcases, and only 15-20 make it in the show. But that's not even the hard part! They train and rehearse for three months straight, and i'm talking about full day rehearsals and training. You have to be really dedicated to do this, and honestly, it's pretty damn inspiring.

I met a handful of first timers and seasoned AFM attendees who gave me a perspective on today's film market. I was there for work so i couldn't fully enjoy each film/distributor venue, maybe next time....when i market my own film ;)

Last night i went to Smashbox Studios (Culver City) for the opening night of the Photo Assistants Show. It was an awesome evening to say the least. Not only did i get to spend the evening with good friends and positive/good vibes all around, my work is up in their studio for all to see.

So if you are in the LA area, swing by Smashbox Studios to check out my work and other photographers/aspiring photographers works. The exhibit will be up for an entire month. Words cannot express how happy i am to be a part of this exhibit, so here are a few pictures from last night:

Last weekend i attended the FirstGlance Film Festival in Hollywood to support my buddy, Layla Bozek's film "Cope". It's always cool to see works by friends up on the big screen. It's proud and motivating at the same time.

I just had to post this video for many reasons that i'll keep to myself, but here are a few that i'd like to share:

1. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this song. Her name is Adele, google her. Your time will not be wasted. I guarantee it. If you think otherwise then you have no soul.
2. The editing and song choice for this show almost seems like it's telling a story. For a split second you almost forget you're watching a show. The pacing is well done.
3. I love what Christopher Bailey is doing with Burberry. I like your style, man.
4. Burberry Prorsum, Prorsum in Latin means "moving forward". My motto through thick and thin, just keep moving forward =)

BTW, those are not Polaroids. Those are pseudo Polaroid notecards that come with cute little envelopes. I used them for my project and now i have a shit load of Polaroid notecards just sitting in my room. I suppose i can send them out to friends and family. It's always nice receiving mail that isn't junk.

Went to check out the opening reception of "Multiplayer" @ G1988 in Venice lastnight. G1988 SF moved down to Venice where massive amounts of hipsters and art lovers congregate. Prime location, and i love it.

Although it was barely breathable in there, i enjoyed the art works.

This entire weekend i've been listening to Anjulie. I dig her style alot. If i had to compare her to another great artist, i'd say she would be in the same boat as Lily Allen. "Addicted 2 Me" is one of my fave tracks on her self-titled album. Check it out yo!

Went to the opening reception of Brandi Milne's exhibition at the Corey Helford gallery.

The loft at the gallery had photoworks by Natalie Shau, which was really cool. Her works reminded me of Lady GaGa, but darker.

A lot has happened since my last post, but i'll only share the cool stuff.

I went to New York for the first time, and it was amazing. It was everything i expected it to be and much, much more. I dig the vibe over there but i don't see myself living there. I'll visit any chance i get though. I also went to New Jersey and Boston. New Jersey is cool, i wish i explored it more - same with Boston.
