Post: First nomination, IPSY social

Happy new year! Before 2019 ended I got news that the short film I edited is nominated for an award. Of my 10 years of editing this is my first nomination. Woo-hoo! I share the nomination with two others; one is the director and the other is an additional editor.



I worked on some social videos for IPSY's marketing. Simple edits. It seems like everyone is doing captions for their videos now so that's become a process in itself. I'm curious to see how technology will approach customizable captions in specific editing programs. I know platforms like YouTube and Instagram are already ahead of the game on that, but not customizable. Especially for brands with specific style guides.
